Belize Letters

Each student going to Belize is required to send out a minimum of 7 support letters, asking for financial and prayer support. It is important that each letter is put together properly. A proper support letter will include:

  • The actual support letter (using the exact wording provided on the letter we provide)
  • a personal note or letter (this makes it personal for those receiving the letters)
  • return envelope (stamped and addressed back to John Knox)
  • All three of these will then be placed in a stamped and addressed business size envelope.
  • Each student will bring their letters (unsealed) to the prep meeting on April 13

Here is a video for those of you who are more visual (it is a bit outdated, but I think you can figure out how to make it work for this year):

Support Letters

Note: Asking for money may be something you are uncomfortable with, and we understand.  This is the main way traditional missionaries gain support, and we feel that it is a great way for students to see who in their life is willing to support them on a trip like this.  If you really do have a fundamental difficulty with this process, please contact Dave, so we can discuss it further.
